The FCCLA Offices Election and Ice Cream Party will be TODAY at 3:10. The fee for Basic Training Day is $35.00 and due this Thursday, 21st , 2008. After Thursday the fee will be $50.00. See Mrs. Finster for more questions.   

Announced August 18-20, 2008
Attention! All "Choosing the Best" S.T.A.R.S Our next meeting will be TOMORROW August 20,2008 right after school in the "distance learning" room. Plan to attend as we will have a guest speaker and rally for the September conference. Please turn in all paper work  to Mrs. Lynch, Mrs. Lively, or Mrs. Bosworth.

Announced August 19,2008
The Academic Team will practice today  and  Thursday (August 21,2008) after school in Dr. Bettler's room.

Anyone interested in attending the FBLA State rally and Fair needs to see Mrs.Rich or Mrs.Arp to pick up an information packet the cost is $38 and is due no later than September 3. Only 15 spots are available.

Any JV or Varsity football cheerleader that has not received their pictures need to see Mrs. Goddard.

The National Honor Society will be recognizing the outstanding teachers they believe have done an excellent job for the students her at AHS. A special sign and goody bag will be presented to one teacher each month, as voted by the NHS members.

Children in Need Yard Sale
Our Children in Need Yard Sale will be sometime in October. Please donate any reusable items that you no longer need or want. The money goes to the Floyd County students who are in need of medical, dental or any other medical assistance and can not afford it. Receipts for taxes will be given. Please bring items to the Board of Education any time. Ask for Joyce Lunsford. Please no clothes. Thank You
