What does it mean to be an NHS member?

Reminders
Hey everyone.............take a look at the shirt design.  Hope it is what you all wanted!!!  See you Wednesday at 8:45, as the orientation meeting begins promptly at 9.  You can come a little earlier if you are worried about having enough time to get changed into your t-shirts.  Also, all you will be doing is encouraging kids and parents to SIGN UP for our freshman buddy program.  They simply need to fill out the form (I'll have them ready for you) and that is it.  They will find out who their buddy is during the first week of school.

I have a freshman homeroom and will be meeting with them, so when you guys have all the materials completed and parents/students move on to their homerooms, just gather the forms and other materials I've left for you (including my card table) and bring them to my classroom.  Leave them there and you are free to go for the day!  You shouldn't be there longer than about an hour or so!!!

Final note, PLEASE make sure you sign my attendance sheet for this activity.  It will let me know you have picked up your FREE shirt and it will be a record that you participated in this service project to our school!!!

Don't forget, if you have done individual service projects over the summer, remember to have a supervising adult OTHER than Mom or Dad sign off on your documentation!
