Mr. Coleman has been teaching for 18 years. His first seven years he taught at Lamar County High, then he taught for two years at Rome High and he has been at AHS for the past nine years. He and his wife Jennifer have three children: Audrey (22), Whitney (18), and Ben (13). He enjoys camping, canoeing, hiking and the FLORIDA GATORS! Mr. Coleman was a United States Coast Guard Petty Officer, 3rd class from 1979-1983. He was also Lamar County's Teacher of the Year in 1992.
