Mrs. DeFoor has been teaching for 7 years. Her first year she taught at Sonoraville East Middle School in Gordon County and this is her sixth year at AHS. She is the Spanish Honor Society sponsor and also helps out with the Sudoku club. In 2005/2006 she was named Armuchee High's Teacher of the Year and has been named Who's Who Among American Teachers in 2004, 2005, and 2006.She was also Kennesaw State University's Student Teacher of the Year in 2002. She is married to her husband, Matt and they have a son, Rand. Her hobbies include Spanish, reading, sudoku and scrap-booking.
