Mrs. Mashburn has been teaching for 24 years. She has previously taught at West Rome High, Rome High, and she has been at AHS since 1997. Mrs. Mashburn is married to her husband, David. Her hobbies include baking, cooking, and singing. She is in the Who's Who Among American Teachers and was the 1st Annual Recipient of the Randall H. Minor Reward at Shorter College.

Where did Mrs. Mashburn attend HS and College? Armuchee High School, Shorter College (Bachelor of Arts-Mathematics with Secondary Degree in Education) and Berry College (Masters Degree- Education emphasis in Mathematics and Science).
First Job? Babysitting and Belk in Riverbend Mall.
Random Fact: Mrs. Mashburn and her husband sang two duets at their own wedding.
One thing Mrs. Mashburn wants to do in her lifetime: Go on an Alaskan Cruise with her husband.
