How to Study with Better Understanding 1. Skim the assigned sections of your text for highlighted words. 2. Make a list of the highlighted words on a separate page of notebook paper. 3. Re-read the sections for details and look at examples. Compare these with the notes you have taken in class. 4. Write the meanings of the highlighted words on the vocabulary sheet you have made. 5. Copy items in boxes into your notebook. 6. Do homework problems. 7. Check answers. 8. Memorize definitions, properties, theorems, postulates, and corollaries. 9. Ask questions about problems you don't understand. 10. Arrange for extra help if needed. |
