Coach Tucker has been teaching for 39 years. He has previously taught at LaFayette High School, Rockmart High School, Calhoun High School, and is in his fourth year of teaching at Armuchee High School. He and his wife Pamela have three sons: Ray III, David, and Craig. He enjoys playing golf. Coach Tucker has won the S.T.A.R. Teacher Award 5 times. He has won Teacher of the Year 3 times, State Coach of the Year 2 times, and he has won the Region Coach of the Year award 11 times.
